The A. H. Meyers glass company has been located here for over 41 years, they occupied the Truck Shop until it burned in the early 1990's. This building, while not the original building, was rebuilt on the foundation of the Truck Shop and is in the same general configuration. It even retains the two large shop doors in the same location as the former Truck Shop. We spoke to Mr. Myers and he told us of the various fires that have claimed several Jackson and Sharp building over the years. He also recalled removing the railroad rails from the floor of his shop.
